Relentless Heroes Community Rules and Expectations
Why we need to have this set of rules:
The following set of rules and expectations were created as a means of holding all members accountable for their actions. We want to ensure that the Relentless Heroes (RH) community remains an inviting and enjoyable place for members and guests. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to comply with the following rules and expectations will result in the punishments

Anyone actively participating within the RH community is allowed to wear the RH tag in any environment they would like to. HOWEVER, there are expectations that you must abide by as your actions will not only represent yourself, but will represent RH as a whole.

Battle.net Chat Channel Specific Rules:
You must all understand that there are many people in our Battle.Net chat channel that are NOT in RH. Also you must all understand that we have zero moderation abilities within the chat channel. However, it is possible to ignore other users, if they are engaging in behavior which you find to be unacceptable. All infractions within the chat channel must be personally discussed with the offending individual that their behavior is unacceptable.
Closing Remarks:
These rules are in place to ensure the perpetuation of a friendly and entertaining atmosphere for everyone. Above all else the most important rule within RH is to enjoy yourself! We're all here to have fun and enjoy each other's company. No one should feel as if they are not allowed to participate in the overall enjoyment of all that is RH.

*All members have the right to challenge their offense as not being an offense by addressing any Overseer, Council Adviser, or Leader in order to begin deliberation. Be prepared to support your position with solid reasoning.
**Any member of the Leadership Team may be removed from their position for not enforcing the rules, excessively breaking the rules themselves, or for any other obviously necessary reasons.

Definition of mistreatment offenses:
- **Specific incidents of the following will be identified by the discretion of any moderator**
- Trolling:
Trolling will be defined as the deliberate act of coercing anyone in a negative manner with the sole desire to incite a desired emotional response with no prior understandable justification for doing so.
- Disrespect:
Disrespect will be defined as the deliberate act of continually making anyone feel as if they are insignificant or worthless. If a member is continually making another member or guest feel as if they are unwelcome in RH with no prior justification for doing so it will be considered an act of disrespect.
- Racism:
Racism will be defined as a deliberately hostile expression of your hatred or intolerance of another person based on racial prejudice.
- Sexism:
Sexism will be defined as the deliberate expression of your hatred or intolerance of another person based on their gender or making someone feel uncomfortable as a result of sexual comments or discussions.
- Feeding the Troll:
Feeding the troll will be defined as the act of responding emotionally or retaliating against someone who is trolling you.
**This is being put here for all of you to understand that you WILL be trolled at one point or another. It's bound to happen, welcome to the internet. As a result, to try and prevent any instances of trolling escalating to verbal assaults between the individuals involved, and to preserve YOUR sanity and the sanity of all those within RH. Feeding the troll is hereby against the rules! If you are being trolled, DO NOT CONTINUALLY RESPOND! The troll will be dealt with, and you yourself will be spoken to for feeding the troll. The only way we can stop trolling is for you all to not feed the trolls! Let's make a group effort to starve them to death.**
**Any member has the right to challenge their act as not being any of the following**
General Rules Which Apply to All Aspects of Any RH Service:
- No excessive Trolling
- No Racism
- No Sexism
- Be respectful of everyone!
- Do
not discriminate anyone based on what race they play, or what league
they are in. (This does not mean that players in lower leagues are
entitled to their balance complaints!)
- Respect the discretion of anyone of the Leadership Team
- No
discussion of Religion or Politics unless ALL! those who would
participate or can hear your conversation have given their 100% consent.
Conversation must end if anyone who has not given prior consent joins
the channel.
- No discussion of justification for your Racism.
- Do not feed the troll!
- Your SC2 league displayed on the forums and on Teamspeak must reflect your actual 1v1 Starcraft 2 league. Not the league you THINK you are.
Rules with Specifically Heightened Punishments:
- Respect new recruits/community members and make them feel at home:
We want RH to be a place where everyone can hang out and have fun. Our goal is to promote growth, and there is no greater detriment towards growth than the mistreatment of those who are new, thus punishments for mistreating new players will be more severe.
Offense Specific Punishments: Warning for first offense, 3 hour ban from all RH services for second offense, 3 day ban for third offense, permanent ban and removal from RH for fourth offense.
- Respect the Leadership:
The Leadership Team’s purpose is to maintain a comfortable environment for all members and visitors to RH, and are tasked with upholding the rules and standards laid out above. As such, it is important that their requests and decisions are respected by all members. Failure to respect the discretion of anyone of rank Overseer, Council Adviser, or Leader is detrimental to their ability to maintain the friendly atmosphere that we all enjoy and will not be tolerated.
Offense Specific Punishments: Warning for first offense, 1 day ban from all RH services for second offense, week ban for third offense, permanent ban and removal from RH for fourth offense.
- Do not EVER discuss or argue the following unless ALL participants or observers have given their 100% consent:
To preserve the sanity and respectful atmosphere, the following topics are banned from discussion in any public atmosphere as they will NEVER result in anything productive.
- Religion
- Politics
- Justification of your Racism

Expectations for Wearing the RH Tag:

- Do not Troll
- Do not be BM (Bad Mannered)
- Be respectful of all those whom you are in contact with. ESPECIALLY those not in RH.
- No cheating
- No racism, sexism, or expression of other negative prejudices.
Punishments: Excessive failure to follow the above will result in removal from RH in order to preserve the image which we work to maintain. We do not want to be known as a "Bad Mannered" community and we will work diligently to prevent that from happening. Our image as a community is worth more to us than your feelings.
TeamSpeak Specific Rules:
- Follow the General Rules.
- No deliberately interrupting someone else speaking.
- No playing music, OVER MIC EVER!
- Respect
the privacy of others. If they want to be alone, allow them to be
alone. Do not pester the private conversations of others.
- No
clogging the TeamSpeak audio space in any way! If you have or will
have any noise in the background a Push to Talk is mandatory and may
result in a 1 hour ban if you fail to comply.
- NO WHISTLING!
- Keep singing to a minimum.
- Immediate
permanent ban if you break any of the above rules while not being
registered on the RH website. One warning, and then if continued,
permanent ban is warranted.
Punishments: Warning for first offense, 1 hour ban off TeamSpeak for second offense, 3 day ban from TeamSpeak for third offense, a permanent ban and removal from RH for fourth offense.
Forum Specific Rules:
- Follow the General Rules.
- No posting of anything that will obviously need to be deleted.
- No posting of anything NSFW (Not safe for work) without explicitly stating such.
- No posting of anything that would be labeled as 18+
- Do
not, under any circumstances, engage in hot-tempered arguments on the
forums. If you feel someone is intentionally trolling or attacking you,
bring it to the attention of the leadership and it will be dealt with.
Punishments: Immediate deletion of post. Warning for first offense, 5 day ban from posting for second offense, month ban from posting for third offense, permanent ban and removal from RH for fourth offense.
- IMMEDIATE permanent ban from the forums for posting anything extremely offensive or vulgar.
Battle.net Chat Channel Specific Rules:
You must all understand that there are many people in our Battle.Net chat channel that are NOT in RH. Also you must all understand that we have zero moderation abilities within the chat channel. However, it is possible to ignore other users, if they are engaging in behavior which you find to be unacceptable. All infractions within the chat channel must be personally discussed with the offending individual that their behavior is unacceptable.
- Follow the General Rules.
- No inviting random people to fill the channel to 99
- No
excessive spam :: I do not want to see an entire block of someone
flipping tables 100 times in one message. One is enough! (ノ°益°)ノ彡┻━┻
Punishments: Warning and discussion for first and second offense. 3 day ban from all RH services for third offense, permanent ban and removal from RH for fourth offense.
